As we started on this design journey we set our goal to substantially increase brand association and recognition of Gamertell. We really liked the logo on the old site but the rest had become a bit blah. Some of our larger competitors has redesigned in many of the same colors we were using and part of this wireframe is reducing complexity. Given that we sought out 2-3 colors what would help increase the recognition and give the site some stand-out in the gaming world. It was only in the past week that we agreed that green and orange with black/dark accents would be the right fit.
