by Adam Berger on March 12, 2008 at 03:41 PM

We just received word that Blogged.com has recently rated all three of our Dabbledoo sites: Gadgetell, Appletell, and Gamertell. They have evaluated the blogs based on the following criteria: Frequency of Updates, Relevance of Content, Site Design, and Writing Style. After carefully reviewing each of these criteria, Gadgetell and Appletell were given a 8.9 score, while Gamertell came in at a 8.0.
Congrats to our writing/editing teams!

Elite Blogger Interview “Rendezvous with Adam Berger”

by Adam Berger on January 27, 2008 at 06:20 AM

The folks over at Elite Blogger recently recognized Gadgetell.com as one of the “Elite 125 blogs” on the internet. To go along with the recognition they were interested in interviewing the team. I stepped up for this one and pumped out some answers to their blitz of questions (it was actually quite fun).

Gadgetell and Appletell get a refresh

by Adam Berger on January 24, 2008 at 06:23 AM

After a few months of hard work, we are very please to roll out a new design for Gadgetell and Appletell. Not only do we have a new layout but we have improved branding on Appletell with a brand new logo and added a bit of pizazz to Gadgetell with a gold background.

Check them out and please feel free to leave us a comment with your thoughts. Stay tuned to more exciting news and announcements in the coming weeks.

Dabble what? Dabbledoo.

by Adam Berger on November 18, 2007 at 10:02 PM

There is a lot in a name, for us the name “Dabbledoo” invokes memories of childhood and fun.

The most memorable times from our childhood were when we sat hours at end making-up words and doing things we love. By things, we mean things, with an “s”. It is hard to pick one toy or topic and devote 100% of your time towards it without it becoming mundane. After some time you become board and restless. That is why with Dabbledoo we strive to keep things exciting either via constantly updating the content on our sites, unveiling site designs, launching blogs, and entering related ventures.  Since we are passionate about flexibility, Dabbledoo Media allows our bloggers to spend as much time as they like writing about the topics they are passionate about, for you to read.

Now you ask, what does “doo” mean? Nothing. What? Yup, it means absolutely nothing. How is that you may ask. Doo is a great word to add to the end of Dabble. It makes the word fun and your mouth smile. When you are smiling, you are having fun. Heck, if we had our way we would wear mesh shorts, college hoodies, and baseball hats but we are a part of the corporate world now and often break out the blazers and slacks when needed.

Along with that we opted to add the word “Media” to our name just to make sure people don’t think we’re only about fun and games, in the end we are strictly business.

So there you have it. Dabbledoo Media. (We see you smiling as you say it)
